Job Summary

QSAC is hiring part-time NYS Certified Special Education Teachers for our home and community based EI, SEIT and SETSS programs (NYC boroughs).

We offer flexible schedules with a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week, but can increase the case load to 20+ hours. All programmatic instruction is designed and implemented according to the principles and procedures of a pplied b ehavior a nalysis (ABA). Looking for more than just a job? The salary range for this position is $55.00-$65.00 an hour.

Hours are 8am-6pm.

SEIT Teachers with availability during school hours are an urgent need.

Qualification & Work Experience

  • New York State Permanent Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities (B-2 or All Grades) Initial or Professional certification required
  • Experience with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and applied behavior analysis is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
  • Demonstrate patience and ability to learn and utilize systematic procedures to enhance independence and quality of life
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served
  • Commitment to company values and adherence to poli cies

Locations

Child’s home, an approved or licensed pre-Kindergarten or Head Start program, n on-special e ducation s chool setting or a childcare location selected by the parent.
