Job summary

Right At School in Buford, GA is hiring an Educator to help run after-school programs in local schools. Our mission emphasizes inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving families peace of mind, by building a team of mission-driven individuals who create safe, engaging experiences for children.

You will organize activities, lead daily curriculum, model positive guidance, and ensure safety while helping children thrive after school hours.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program’s objectives; organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols; document attendance, incidents and observations.
• Communication: effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Educator Pay Rate

$16.00-$18.00 (based on education and experience)

Program Hours

Monday to Friday 2:45 PM - 6:00 PM

You’ll Drive The Mission By

Georgia State Requirements

• Ability to meet state-specific requirements;
• First Aid and CPR-in-person
• 18+ years of age
• Proof of High School diploma/GED required
