Job summary

Pearson is seeking a part-time Learning Facilitator with leadership experience to deliver training and develop professional development for educators using MTSS and assessment tools. Strong communication, facilitation skills, and data-based decision making are essential.

Extensive travel is required during peak season (August–October). Preferred candidates hold a Master’s in education or related field and have experience with educational assessments and PD delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in educational leadership, school psychology, special education or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with five years of admin/interpretation experience of PreK-12 assessments.
• Experience delivering PD to educators in multiple formats.
• Test administration and scoring for PreK-12 benchmarks, including social-emotional metrics.
• Preferred use of aimswebPlus, DRA3, WriteToLearn, Review360, BASC-3 BESS, SSIS SEL, or Shaywitz DyslexiaScreen.
• Strong educational technology skills and ability to support teachers and students.
• Ability to interpret normative and criterion-referenced data.

Responsibilities

• 60% Deliver instructionally sound product training to customers onsite or web-based.
• 15% Collaborate with Pearson team on product releases and training revisions; attend monthly meetings.
• 15% Plan and travel independently.
• 10% Assess and modify training to meet customer needs.

Education

Master's degree in educational leadership, School Psychology, Special Education, or closely related field

Bachelor’s Degree in closely related field with five years of experience with administration and interpretation of preK-12 assessment instruments

Experience delivering professional development to educators in a variety of learning formats

Test administration and scoring experience with preK-12 academic AND social-emotional benchmark and progress monitoring measures

Direct experience using aimswebPlus, DRA3, WriteToLearn, Review360, BASC‑3 BESS, SSIS SEL, and/or Shaywitz DyslexiaScreen is preferred

Expertise in using educational technologies and in supporting students and teachers in their use

Proficient with interpreting normative and criterion‑referenced student data
