Job Description and Position Requirements:

The Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling, and Special Education (EPCSE) in the College of Education is seeking individuals to assist with course instruction delivery. Hired individuals as Course Assistants will provide technical and classroom management support to instructors. They will facilitate instruction but are not expected to deliver content unless they have content area knowledge, which is preferred.

Job Duties:

  • Assist instructors with organizing coursework and explaining concepts to students.
  • Hold office hours and review sessions.
  • Grade assignments, papers, exams, etc., and document grades according to established criteria.
  • Perform other administrative duties related to the course.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge in Educational Psychology, Development, Statistics, and/or Rehabilitation and Human Services.
  • Collegiate-level teaching experience as an instructor or Teaching Assistant.
  • Experience with technology in educational settings.
