Job summary

Natrona County School District #1 Oregon Trail Elementary in Casper, Wyoming seeks a part-time Education Support Personnel for 15 hours/week (3 hours daily, 175 days/year). Responsibilities include assisting in monitoring, instruction, and documentation under certified staff supervision, supporting behavioral, academic, and social learning.

Position reports to Administrative Manager or Principal. Requires high school diploma or GED and designation as Highly qualified.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to support certified staff in daily instructional activities.
• Supports behavioral, academic, and social learning under supervision.
• Maintains student records and progress notes as required.

Responsibilities

• Adapts learning activities to meet varied learning levels under educator guidance.
• Assists with small groups and individual students in academic and social-emotional skills.
• Monitors students during activities to maintain a safe, constructive environment.
• Attends meetings for information on job functions and program plans.
• Responds to emergencies and supports de-escalation as needed.
