Job summary

The University of Scranton's Department of Education has an ongoing need for highly qualified part-time faculty to staff courses in primary, middle, secondary, and special education. Part-time faculty may instruct one or more courses or labs each semester on an "as needed" basis.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related majors is required.
• ABD or PhD in Education or related majors is preferred.
• Previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades.
