Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR is seeking a part-time Echocardiography Technologist to perform cardiac ultrasound studies per physician orders, using advanced ultrasound equipment to assess cardiac structure and function. The role requires Oregon Sonographer licensure and CPR/BLS; credentials in NCSC/ACS/ARDMS preferred.

You will support the cardiology team, assist with invasive echo, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a team-oriented Providence environment.

Qualifications

• Oregon Sonographer license required upon hire.
• National Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) upon hire.
• National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) upon hire.
• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) upon hire.
• National Provider BLS (AHA) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations per physician orders using advanced equipment.
• Identifies presence or absence of disease with knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Assists physicians with invasive echocardiography including TEE and stress echocardiography.
