Qualifications

• Must hold Oregon Sonographer license.
• Must be National Registered Cardiac Sonographer - CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) or equivalent.
• Must be National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer - CCI or equivalent.
• Must be National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - ARDMS.
• Must hold National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations per physician orders using diverse ultrasound equipment.
• Assist physicians in invasive echocardiography procedures including TEE and other location-specific procedures.
• Adhere to American Society of Echocardiography standards and departmental policies.
• Share coverage for standby and call-back emergencies during evenings and weekends.
