Qualifications

• National EKG, ECG, CET, or CCT certification or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least three years of documented ECG work experience, including telemetry, Holter monitoring, and cardiac stress testing.
• At least 6 months of ECG teaching or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Electrocardiography Technician courses at various times and locations.
• Creates engaging lessons promoting student involvement and application of material.
• Submits required college reports/forms promptly.
• Follows a course syllabus per established guidelines.
• Advises students before/after class or by appointment.
• Evaluates student progress and informs them timely.
• Maintains professional relationships with students and colleagues.
• Attends meetings, trainings, orientations.
• Assumes other related duties as assigned.
