Job summary

New Oakland Family Centers is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutritional care within the FACE to FACE Partial Hospital Program (CERV) and the Outpatient Program. This role works with a multidisciplinary team to support clients with eating disorders through assessments, meal planning, group therapy, and nutrition counseling.

The ideal candidate will hold an RD credential, have expertise in nutrition therapy, and commit to evidence-based care while following facility

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nutrition or dietetics; experience in eating disorder treatment preferred.
• Active RD certification and continued good standing with boards.
• Experience with EMR data entry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical staff to evaluate and provide nutritional consultations for clients in CERV and Outpatient Programs.
• Lead daily group therapy sessions focused on nutrition and eating disorder recovery.
• Supervise lunch groups and create individualized meal plans.
• Conduct initial nutritional assessments and evaluations for potential clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinic policies.
• Demonstrate professional boundaries with clients.
• Attend and participate in team meetings.
• Stay current with professional training requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
