Qualifications

• All part time faculty are responsible for providing our students with a high-quality learning environment, while utilizing their focused expertise and experience in their individual classroom, laboratories, and studios.
• The department chair will review applications submitted when there is a specific need for part time adjunct to fill a course scheduled in the academic year for both the day and/or evening classes.
• The application process will require that applicants designate their preference for teaching in the day, evening, or both.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Earth or Geographic Science courses for majors and/or non-majors.
• Contribute to laboratories and studios as needed.
• Participate in course planning and student assessment.
