Job summary

Center For Family Services is seeking a Substitute Teacher Assistant for Mosaic Early Learning in Oaklyn, NJ. This part-time role supports the Teacher with classroom activities and maintains an organized learning environment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, CDA or higher (associate in ECE preferred), and at least 1 year in a classroom. First Aid/CPR certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDA or higher but an Associate Degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• 1 year experience working in a classroom setting.
• Maintains First Aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Teacher with daily classroom activities and maintaining the classroom environment.
• Help copy worksheets for instruction, prepare bulletin boards, and perform clerical/non-instructional tasks.
• Assist with home visits and conferences; attend required staff meetings and professional development.
• Follow Mosaic Early Learning standards and NJ guidelines; report suspected child abuse per NJ guidelines.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
