Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking an Assistant Teacher at Bryan Medical Child Development Center East in Lincoln, NE. This part-time floater role supports infants to preschoolers and offers a 2pm–7:30pm, Monday through Friday schedule, with opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

You will assist with activities, communicate with parents, maintain a safe classroom, and provide coverage across centers or nearby locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of child care experience preferred.
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet children’s needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following guidelines.
• Provide support across classrooms or nearby locations as needed.
