Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring an Assistant Teacher for part-time positions in NYC area, with a schedule from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You will assist in activities, communicate with parents, and maintain a safe, clean classroom while supporting infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Qualifications include background checks, 18+ with HS diploma, and 1 year in child care preferred; CDA/Associate/Bachelor’s in early education preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child’s daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
