Job summary

Bright Horizons in Purchase, NY is hiring full and part-time Associate Teachers to work with infants or toddlers. Roles include shifts 11am-6pm or 2pm-6pm, with pay ranging $17.20 to $21.40 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll assist with hands-on activities, communicate with families about milestones, and help maintain a safe classroom. CDA/Associate/Bachelor’s in early education preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and company.
• Must be 18+ with high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet children’s needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Keep classrooms safe and clean by following procedures and guidelines.
• Provide coverage support across classrooms or nearby locations as needed.
