• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or closely related field, or actively seeking such degree with 1-3 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Teaching certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement various recreation and instructional programs.
• Follow Illinois Early Learning Guidelines or Development Standards.
• Prepare classroom and activities aligned with state standards.
• Observe and evaluate children’s progress and communicate concerns to supervisor.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
• Collaborate with instructors and supervisor on program development.
