Job summary

San Antonio Shoemakers Inc. in San Antonio, TX, seeks a part-time E-Commerce Web Developer contractor to support our ecommerce platforms.

You will report to the Director of IT and collaborate with Marketing and IT to create, update, and optimize web pages across Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, and Shopify. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in web development, strong front-end skills, and experience with integrations, performance optimization, security, and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
5+ years of web development experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce (Magento) and Shopify.
Thorough understanding of SDLC methods.
Expertise with front end web design.

Responsibilities

Create, update, and maintain web pages for ecommerce sites.
Develop/design custom solutions to website architecture.
Experience with Salesforce, Magento & Shopify development, including custom module creation, theme development, and API integrations.
Strong understanding of web performance optimization, security best practices, and scalability.
Create system documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
Architectural design, development, customization, and integration of portals, content management, and workflows.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and document web solutions with both out-of-the-box and custom code.
Provide training to web content managers and end users.
Plan, develop, and execute projects with team members and end users.
