Job summary

Carroll Lutheran Village, Inc. in Westminster, MD is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Dual Certified CNA II/CMT for memory care. The role covers evenings (3:00pm–11:00pm) on Mondays and Fridays, with alternating weekends and holidays.

You will administer medications, observe residents, verify identity, and document with MAR compliance. Ideal candidates hold active Maryland CNA II and CMT certifications and have 1–2+ years of CNA II experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• Active CNA II license in accordance with Maryland regulations.
• 1–2+ years of CNA II experience in long-term care or related healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and document accurately per MAR and policy.
• Observe residents before, during, and after medication administration and report any concerns.
• Verify resident identity and ensure safe self-administration protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date MAR and resident files with proper documentation.
• Assist licensed staff with assessments and care planning within CMT scope.
• Support residents with light housekeeping and escort to activities as needed.
• Identify and report medication errors; participate in safety initiatives.
• Complete forms, logs, and documentation promptly; maintain interdepartmental cooperation.
• Attend mandatory trainings including OSHA and continuing education.
