Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of MN is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Red Wing. The role emphasizes person-centered care, providing guidance, building relationships, and advocating for individuals in all aspects of life.

You will maintain documentation, participate in training, and contribute to a supportive, growing team. A $2,000 hiring bonus is offered, with wage increases after six months of consistent employment, on PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a DHS background check.

• Upon completion of six months of consistent employment, there is an opportunity to obtain a wage increase up to $16.50/hour.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at LSS you will:

• Maintain documentation, perform record keeping, and participate in periodic meetings/training according to regulations and LSS standards.

What you offer LSS as a DSP:

• The desire to help individuals with disabilities achieve their personal hopes and dreams through person centered care and support.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and write in English
• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check.
• The ability to successfully pass a DHS background check.
