Job summary

Nova Center of the Ozarks Day Services is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our frontline team. You will work with individuals with IDD in community-based settings, focusing on building meaningful relationships and supporting independence, daily living skills, and community engagement.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18 years of age, reliable transportation, a valid Class E license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age
• Have reliable transportation, valid Class E driver’s license, and proof of current auto insurance
• Ability to maintain good standing in attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift/move 50lbs.
• Ability to work both day and evening shifts

Responsibilities

• Work directly with individuals with IDD in community-based settings
• Teach and support independent living skills
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, household tasks, and basic financial skills
• Facilitate community integration and social engagement
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality
