Job summary

Venture-Community-Service is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a behavioral residential setting. You will help with daily living tasks, community involvement, and transportation to appointments to promote independence.

The position offers a part-time schedule with 32 hours per week, paid training, and a sign-on bonus. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in their lives.
• Assist with daily tasks: household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing.
• Support attendance at medical appointments and community activities; follow care plans and goals.
• Follow medical guidelines and participate in training programs as required.
