Job summary

You will serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) and handle SEVIS records, with potential to teach SLS 1101 (1 credit) for eligible candidates. Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of related work experience.
• High School diploma or GED accepted if substituting experience for education.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) advising on F-1 visa matters and maintaining SEVIS records.
• Organize orientation programs and co-teach semester-length orientation seminars for first-year F-1 students.
• Develop and sustain student leadership programs integrating U.S. and international students.
• Nurture relationships with sister colleges to support transfer and persistence.
• Track retention, graduation, and achievement data and report findings.
• Navigate immigration and student information systems, and teach SLS 1101 (1 credit) if credentialed.
