Job summary

Food Lion in Selbyville, DE is seeking a detail-oriented Store Operations Associate to ensure proper DSD receiving, uphold standard procedures, and maximize sales through excellent customer service. You will work closely with the Assistant Store Manager to support promotions and maintain inventory accuracy.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to perform tasks across multiple areas, including safety compliance and brief CBT-style training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Protect company assets through proper receipt and return of DSD product.
• Work with vendors to resolve vendor errors, policy violations or inventory issues.
• Ensure timely promotions by all vendors and maintain weekly merchandising notes.
• Verify DSD plan-o-grams and accurately account for tickets, invoices and filings.
• Follow Food Lion safety guidelines and report any accidents promptly.
