Job summary

Jaide Health, based in San Diego, CA, is seeking a hands-on drone systems engineer to join our stealth hardware team. You will fly and test custom quadcopters, validate navigation with ArduPilot/PX4, and help advance autonomous capabilities for real-world autonomy projects.

Ideal candidates are experienced with FPV piloting, carry a Part 107, and proficient in Python, C++, and Linux. You will collaborate with engineers to debug field issues and push practical, deployable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience flying custom built quadcopters with ArduPilot.
• Experience building custom QuadCopters and RC vehicles.
• Piloting drones manually without GPS modes.
• Debugging ArduPilot and PX4 in the field.
• Part 107 Holder.
• Familiar with EKF-3 estimation in ArduPilot.
• Knowledge of vision-based navigation systems.
• Proficient in Python, C++, and Linux.
