Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas; verify authorization for access in accordance with site policies; and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and public agencies as directed.
• Maintain a professional presence while providing directions and assistance to visitors and communicating observed security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
