Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard Driver Route Patrol in Chicago, IL. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols at transportation locations, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while following site procedures.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a background check; driving positions require the license.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transportation facility grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, observe activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
