Join to apply for the Part-Time Driver (Manheim) role at Cox Enterprises

Our team is looking for Part-Time Drivers for Monday-Wednesday, 7:30am-4pm or Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:30am-4pm.

$500.00 sign-on bonus after 30 days.

This position is responsible for the safe moving, staging, and parking of vehicles on Auction property, driving vehicles to and from Auction lots and customer businesses, and driving vehicles through Auction sale lanes on designated sale days in compliance with Auction safety rules and regulations.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day safely.
  2. Transport vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to customer dealerships and businesses, observing all driving rules, and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving principles.
  3. Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed, move vehicles as needed, and locate "lost" vehicles.
  4. Assist with vehicle operations, such as inflating tires and jump-starting using appropriate equipment. Notify supervisors of inoperative vehicles or low fuel levels.
  5. Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
  6. Follow all safety and health procedures, demonstrating safety commitment.
  7. Participate in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  9. Work overtime as needed.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Ability to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for prolonged periods, walk long distances, and perform physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, squatting, and climbing.
  • Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
  • Visual acuity including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous auction or vehicle handling experience.
  • Ability to drive both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.

Work environment involves outdoor weather conditions with moderate noise levels.

Hourly pay rate: $16.37, with potential additional compensation through commissions or incentives.
