Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale days and throughout auction grounds, following all procedures and traffic laws.
• Transport vehicles to designated areas on auction premises and to customer locations, providing a professional experience.
• Stage and park vehicles in the correct order based on supervisor directions.
• Help locate misplaced vehicles or move inventory as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for movement by inflating tires and jump-starting as needed.
• Communicate vehicle issues to the appropriate teams.
• Provide helpful, friendly support to customers, dealers, and coworkers.
• Follow safety and health procedures and contribute to a culture of safety excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Safely drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale days and throughout auction grounds, following all auction driving procedures, traffic laws and defensive driving practices.
• Transport vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises, as well as customer dealerships and business locations, providing a professional and courteous experience.
• Stage, organize and park vehicles in the correct order based on direction from supervisors or team leaders.
• Help locate misplaced vehicles or move inventory as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for movement by performing basic tasks such as inflating tires and jump‑starting vehicles.
• Communicate vehicle issues to the appropriate teams.
• Provide helpful, friendly support to customers, dealers, account representatives, rental agencies and coworkers.
• Follow all safety and health procedures and actively contribute to a culture of safety excellence.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Previous auction experience
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to walk long distances
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Vision Abilities Required

Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

This role may involve frequent exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels.

Schedule & Compensation

Work Schedule: Available Mon - Fri, Thursday is mandatory 8:30am - 4:30pm. Pay Rate: $16.63/Hour ***$500 signing bonus***. Hourly pay rate is $16.63. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. Flexible Work Option No remote option; must work at a specified Cox location Travel % No Work Shift Day Compensation.
