Job summary

Westside Community Schools in Omaha, NE is seeking a Part-Time Driver for Contract Meal Services to support daily meal deliveries, event catering, and kitchen duties.

PART-TIME DRIVER,Contract Meal Services

DEPARTMENT:Nutrition Services

Hours: Part-time, day or evening or a combination

JOB SUMMARY: The Utility Person/Driver will help in the kitchen, deliver food and/or beverages to off-site

locations, set up and serve catered events, and wash dishes and put away supplies after events.

Job Responsibilities:

Multiple tasks include but are not limited to:

• Driving food sensitive deliveries of both non-prepared food goods, as well as hot and cold prepared food product to locations within a specified timed allotted.
• Good time management skills
• Cleaning of kitchen and equipment as required
• Ability to work with school staff, students and community
• Self-directed and managed
• Other duties as may be assigned
• Loading, unloading, driving cargo van or box truck
• Serving catered events
• Completing general kitchen duties as assigned by chef

Preferred: Experience in restaurant, school kitchen or catering environment

Physical Requirements:
