Job summary

America’s Auto Auction in Hammond, LA is seeking a part-time driver for immediate hire. Responsibilities include picking up vehicles from dealerships, repo yards and banks, delivering to the intake lot, and moving vehicles to the main auction lot.

You will stage vehicles for sale and operate company equipment in a safe, efficient manner. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, being at least 21, and the ability to travel Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Clean driving record is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to drive various vehicle types.
• Ability to travel during the workweek Monday–Friday.
• Interest in working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.
• Must pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Pick up vehicles from dealerships, repo yards, and banks
• Deliver vehicles to the intake auction lot
• Drive vehicles from the intake auction lot to the main auction lot
• Stage vehicles for the auction sale
• Drive vehicles safely and free of damage
• Operate company equipment in safety regulations
• Maintain and ensure good operating condition of all equipment and facilities
• Perform other tasks assigned by the manager to assist with daily auction activity

$13.00 - 14.00 per hour!

Work Hours for Part-time Driver:

• Monday 9:30AM to 4:00PM
• Tuesday 8:30AM to 4:00PM
• You may be called in Wed - Fri if needed
• Wed - Fri shifts are not required (subject to your availability)
