Job summary

America's Auto Auction in Baton Rouge is seeking a Part-Time Vehicle Transport Driver (Non-CDL). This role supports dealership transport operations and requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals with a valid driver's license.

You will perform vehicle handoffs, inspect safety before trips, and adhere to routes with attention to timing and paperwork. Typical hours include Wed 9-5, Thu 8-5, Fri 9-1 with pay between $13.00 and $15.00 per hour, based on experience; there is an opportunity to move

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and self-disciplined.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle safety inspections prior to operation.
• Check and top off all vehicle fluids (excluding fuel) and report fluids used for documentation purposes.
• Properly fuel vehicles, based on trip requirements.
• Monitor vehicle performance and safely stop operation if overheating or mechanical issues occur.
• Help prevent vehicle breakdowns and stranded vehicle situations.
• Ensure vehicles are properly secured, labeled, and prepared for transport.
• Follow assigned transportation routes and remain with the designated transport group.
• Deliver vehicles to the correct dealership locations and park them as directed.
• Ensure vehicles are parked in their designated sale-day locations.
• Use of a jump box to address low voltage batteries.

Work Hours for Part-time Vehicle Transport Driver (Non-CDL):

• Wednesday 9-5
• Thursday 8-5
• Friday 9-1

Requirements

Requirements for Part-time Vehicle Transport Driver (Non-CDL):

• Able to work the part-time hours listed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous driving or courier experience is a plus but not required.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and self-disciplined.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions including heat and rain.
