Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a part-time DOT-Class A CDL driver for the PA100 Distribution Center in Jessup, PA. The role delivers from distribution centers to branches and customer on-site locations, with pre-loaded trucks and unloading at each stop. Routes average 10–12 stops, and schedules offer flexibility with up to 28 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Possess or are currently in progress of obtaining a Class A CDL.
• Current Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• HazMat endorsement or ability to obtain (US/PR/Guam).
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations for CDL drivers.
• Maintain DOT Hours-of-Service requirements.
• Lift up to 60 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs.
• Complete required DOT drug/alcohol screenings, road test, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a handheld scanner to track deliveries.
• Unload product from trucks by hand, pallet jack, or forklift.
• Deliver to branches and customer on-site locations promptly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Comply with DOT and Fastenal safety regulations.
• Support health, safety and sustainability objectives.
• Participate in safety trainings and program requirements.
