Job summary

Adams Clinical is seeking a Part-Time Psychedelic Dosing Monitor / Therapist to support clinical trials focused on psychedelic research for mood disorders at one or more of our research site locations. Willingness to travel between regional sites is a plus but not required.

You will lead as the study therapist, complete sponsor training, monitor dosing sessions, and ensure adherence to ICH-GCP standards. The majority of visits are on-site, with some remote participation, and a fixed scheduling

Qualifications

• Licensed mental health professional with psychotherapy credentials (NY or equivalent).
• Attention to detail for observation, documentation, and reporting dosing sessions per ICH-GCP.
• Experience with depression, anxiety, or mood disorders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for clinical research settings.

Responsibilities

JobRole

We are seeking a Part-Time Psychedelic Dosing Monitor / Therapist to support clinical trials focused on psychedelic research for individuals with depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders at one or more of our research site locations. Willingness to travel between regional sites is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Lead Study Therapist in clinical trials for depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders
• Complete study-sponsored therapist training, and Adams Clinical site-specific training requirements.
• Provide support to participants throughout the clinical trial, in alignment with the study protocol and thetraining guidelines provided.
• Collaborate with clinicians and site staff managing participant participation in the study.

Qualifications

• Licensed mental health professional in New York or (e.g., PsyD, PhD, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT) with the ability to provide psychotherapy in compliance with state regulations.
• Attention to detail is critical for this role to ensure accurate observation, documentation, and reporting of dosing sessions, with strict adherence to ICH-GCP standards and protocol requirements.
• Experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, or other mood disorders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an interest in advancing mental health care in a clinical research setting.
• Ability to meet fixed scheduling expectations, including consistent on-site availability.
• Final candidate must be approved by both Adams Clinical and the study sponsor.

Preferred Qualification:

• Prior experience with industry-sponsored psychedelic clinical trials

Commitments

• This is a part-time role with 24 guaranteed hours per week.
• Therapists are expected to maintain consistent availability 3 days per week for participant-facing responsibilities, including pre-dose preparations, monitoring during dosing sessions, and post-dose follow-ups. Three-day availability must be either Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday.
• Scheduling will be based on study volume, participant availability, and internal priorities and requires dependable adherence to assigned days.
• The majority of participant visits will be conducted on-site, with some remote participant visits.
• Therapists must be willing to learn and adhere to ICH-GCP standards.
• Additional responsibilities include administrative tasks, onboarding, and study-related training, and other tasks as assigned.

Pay: $60.00 - $76.00 per hour
