Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a gospel-centered Advancement Officer (part-time) to cultivate donor opportunities and manage a donor pipeline. You will represent LifeWise, articulate its mission, and grow engagement with churches and families.

Ideal candidates bring mature faith, leadership experience, and fundraising know-how; strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This role offers hourly compensation and non-exempt status with opportunities to contribute to

Qualifications

Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
Active participation in a local church.
Leadership experience in professional or volunteer capacity.
Fundraising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a LifeWise ambassador, introducing the concept of LifeWise Academy and cultivating interest.
Effectively communicate the vision, mission and priorities of LifeWise to prospective donors.
Oversee a portfolio of donors and prospects, meeting with prospects, ambassadors and donors regularly.
Maintain donor records in the LifeWise CRM and update constituent records.
Provide regular reporting of major gift progress to the program director and leadership board.
Develop strategies to renew and upgrade donor gifts.
Participate in planning and execution of fundraising events and donor follow-up.
