Job summary

Brooklyn Bark is seeking a dependable, pet-loving individual to join our team as a Part-Time Dog Walking Professional in New York. You’ll work on a flexible schedule, walking dogs for 30–60 minutes and providing updates to clients through our system.

You’ll receive paid training, PTO, and 401(k) contributions for part-time employees, with additional earning opportunities including overnight pet sitting. Must be able to commute in Brooklyn and be 18+ with a smartphone for communication.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and 18+ years old.
• Availability: Monday–Friday, minimum 2 hours per weekday.
• Smartphone with data plan for updates and tracking.
• Prior experience with dogs and cats is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dogs for outdoor activities with safety gear.
• Lead 30–60 minute walks and active play.
• Administer food, water, or medications per client instructions.
• Clean up after pets indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Send updates and photos and log notes on behavior/health.
• Build strong rapport with pets and owners.
