Brooklyn Bark is seeking an experienced dog walker to lead weekday walks, ensuring dogs are happy and well cared for. The role offers 25 guaranteed hours per week and benefits including PTO and 401(k) contributions.

Responsibilities include covering walking routes, assisting training, handling new client routes, and maintaining timely communication with staff and clients. Part-time, W2 position with additional earning opportunities is available.

Qualifications

• Weekday availability Mon-Fri 9am–5pm.
• Reliability, punctuality and strong communication.
• Ability to walk several hours daily in all weather.
• Familiarity with Brooklyn neighborhoods.
• US work eligibility and age 18+.
• Prior experience with dogs and clients.
• Smartphone with data plan for communication.

Responsabilités

• Commute to different service areas to cover dog walking routes.
• Provide coverage for emergencies in the field to ensure all dogs are walked.
• Accompany new staff on routes for training and observation.
• Handle new client routes and distribute marketing materials in the field.
• Monitor and respond to chat messages from staff and clients.
• Assist in recording staff performance and safety compliance.
• Audit staff onboarding, keys and client account information.
