Saia is seeking a Dock/Loader role to sort and handle freight in and out of over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and straight trucks. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload freight while following DOT regulations and Saia safety standards.

Compensation includes a pay rate of $24.70–$28.15 per hour based on experience, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced dock environment.

Formación

• Minimum 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Read, write, and comprehend English to perform job tasks and complete shipping documents.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment in compliance with regulations.
• Operate dock tools and maintain straps, bars, airbags, cardboard, and dunnage.
• Load, recoup, rewrap, and stack freight as needed.
• Verify shipments by reading labels and securing freight for loading/unloading.
• Follow bill and quality control procedures to ensure timely, cost-efficient shipments.
