Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines in Bedford, PA is seeking a part-time Dock Worker to load and unload freight safely and efficiently. You will perform pre/post trip inspections, document freight control processes, and participate in Dayton Freight training and improvement programs.

This role requires basic math, English fluency, being 18+, ability to pass a drug screen, and willingness to work varied shifts with a focus on space optimization and safe handling of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight in a productive, safe and claims-free manner.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment.
• Properly document all freight control processes.
• Participate in Dayton Freight’s training and improvement programs.
• Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating shifts and/or assignments.
