Augusta University College of Nursing invites applications for a part-time, 12-month faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in the DNP Nurse Anesthesia program. We are the state's flagship nursing program with extensive clinical partnerships and a broad degree spectrum including DNP and PhD.

The position emphasizes didactic teaching, course coordination, student mentoring, and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree relevant to the area of practice (PhD, DNP, DNAP). Active licensure to practice nursing in Georgia.
• Board certification in area of specialty (CRNA).
• One-year experience as a full-time nurse anesthetist.
• Faculty qualifications include teaching ability, scholarship, and service as described by USG and college standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage in didactic teaching in DNP core and/or concentration courses.
• Course coordination and evaluation.
• Partner with preceptors for student learning and evaluation.
• Participate in curricular development and evaluation.
• Participate on College of Nursing and university committees.
• Mentor students in DNP projects.
• Engage in scholarly activities (presentations and publications).
• Other responsibilities may vary by DNP concentration.
