Job summary

CVS Health is seeking aDistrict Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district and support pharmacy teams in multiple stores. You will act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts, ensuring safe dispensing and excellent patient care.

The role requires travel within a reasonable radius, regular attendance including nights and weekends, and active licensure in the applicable state. Competitive part-time compensation and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator (DPC).
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and act as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager when needed.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and guide the pharmacy team accordingly.
• Assist with immunizations and patient counseling to improve health outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state laws, CVS Health policies, and controlled substance dispensing.
