Job summary

CVS Health in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist to help cover scheduling gaps, support pharmacy teams, and uphold safety and patient care standards across the district.

You will travel to CVS locations as needed, supervise pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, ensure accurate dispensing, immunizations where permissible, and maintain compliance with federal and state laws.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly between tasks.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide patient-focused service and coaching to the pharmacy team.
