Job description

Position Overview

This remote, part-time role provides weekend coverage for our Supply Planning team, working Saturday and Sunday from 8am - 4pm CT. Candidates in the Chicagoland area are preferred.

Position Responsibilities

1. Monitor inventory to ensure supply, track inbound loads, and resolve critical issues related to supply shortages and late inbound loads.
2. Review emails and take necessary actions for multiple distribution centers.
3. Assess critical items to determine if immediate action is needed over the weekend.
4. Coordinate transfers between distribution centers by identifying inventory issues and evaluating transfer options.
5. Resolve product and transportation issues.
6. Track purchase orders from suppliers to receipt at distribution centers, create purchase orders if needed (on an exception basis), and modify existing purchase orders as necessary.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma with 0 to 1+ years of related experience.
