Qualifications

• Current & good standing LPN/LVN license in California; CA Psychiatric Technician may substitute.
• Current CPR certification.
• EMR and computer proficiency.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred; positive attitude toward individuals in treatment.
• Satisfactory drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients per policy and protocols.
• Use automated dispensing systems and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Produce and maintain records/reports per company policy and regulations.
• Ensure security standards for distribution and storage of controlled substances.
• Order, receive and stock medication according to DEA and state regulations.
• Provide daily patient assessments.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
