Job summary

BAART Program in Los Angeles is seeking a detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to dispense prescribed medications within a treatment team. The role involves maintaining dispensing equipment, inventory, and reporting patient treatment data in collaboration with physicians and nursing supervisors.

The ideal candidate will have a CA LPN/LVN license with CPR certification, EMR/computer proficiency, and a background in substance use disorder treatment.

Qualifications

Current & good standing LPN/LVN license in California.
CPR certification required.
Experience in chemical dependency preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer daily medication to patients per policy and protocols.
Use automated dispensing systems and calibrate pumps.
Maintain records and reports per company protocol and regulations.
Ensure compliance with security standards for controlled substances.
Order, receive and stock medication per DEA and state regulations.
Provide daily assessment of patients.
Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new staff.
Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
