Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Dispatch Security Officer in Lithia Springs, GA. The role focuses on coordinating dispatch communications, access control, and incident response at a logistics site. Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, coordinate the flow of vehicles and drivers, and maintain accurate records of arrivals, departures, deliveries, and security-related incidents.
• Verify driver, visitor, and carrier credentials; manage access to designated shipping, receiving, and dispatch areas in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of dispatch areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
