Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Embassy Row is seeking a Part Time Dishwasher to help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. This role supports culinary and service teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Typical schedule is Friday–Sunday, PM shifts. Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience is helpful but not required; high school diploma or GED preferred. Join a hotel known for bold design and vibrant DC culture, steps from iconic landmarks.

Responsabilités

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand, following proper procedures.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored in their designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, floors, and machines.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring proper chemical levels and functionality.
• Remove trash and recycling from kitchen and dish areas, replacing liners as needed.
• Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
• Support kitchen staff by ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes and equipment during service.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local regulations and company standards.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to management.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries, including stocking and storing items properly when needed.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Adapt to changing operational needs and assist with additional tasks as required.

What You’ll Do:

• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment.
