Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine; ensures cleanliness.
• Washes pots, pans and trays; maintains sanitation and cleanliness throughout the dish area.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment to maintain cleanliness.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels per standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet sanitation requirements.
• Transports supplies between storage and work areas; assists with loading/unloading.
