Job summary

Green + The Grain is a contemporary, local, woman and minority owned, fast casual salad chain based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are seeking a dependable Dishwasher to join our growing team; you’ll maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, ensuring tools and equipment are cleaned and sanitized to support service.

Part-time hours are 10:00 AM–2:00 PM on Tue/Wed/Thu, with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently.
• Physically able to meet demands of the role: standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in accordance with company policy and state/federal health codes
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation throughout your shift
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize stainless bowls, utensils, and kitchen tools throughout service
• Replenish clean items to the front of house and kitchen line during the lunch rush
• Assist with breakdown, deep cleaning, and closing duties as assigned by management
• Monitor and refill cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and supplies as needed
• Help with light stocking or receiving deliveries if required
• Support other team members and tasks when the dish area is caught up—teamwork is key!
• Properly store all equipment and tools at the end of shift
• Alert managers to any maintenance or safety concerns with equipment
