Job summary

Nooksack Northwood Casino is hiring a dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. You will wash dishes, glassware and cookware, maintain supplies, and keep the dish area clean while following safety and sanitation guidelines.

The role may involve assisting other kitchen tasks, rotating with breaks, and working varied shifts, including nights and weekends. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Washes dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware using dish machine or hand wash.
• Maintains soap, rinse and sanitizer stock for shift.
• Keeps dish area clean and follows deliming procedures per manual.
• Retrieves dirty dishes from bar, buffet and employee break areas promptly.

Responsibilities

• Puts away clean dishes and items in an orderly manner to minimize breakage.
• Takes out trash promptly and replaces liners.
• Assists in training new dish machine personnel.
• Helps out the crew with prep, cleaning, or other projects when busy.
• Observes sanitation, personal hygiene and safety policies.
• Works in other kitchen areas as required.
