Covenant Living of Cromwell in Cromwell, CT, is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to operate the dishwashing machine and maintain orderly storage areas within the dining services department. The ideal candidate has prior relevant experience and can communicate effectively in English with residents, families, and staff.

The role involves delivering water pitchers, maintaining clean work areas, transporting carts, monitoring temperatures, and supporting cleaning tasks across shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, oral and written, with residents, family members, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine and maintain cleanliness of the dish room.
• Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations and transport carts to dining areas.
• Maintain stock areas in a neat, orderly fashion and keep kitchen work areas clean.
• Monitor water temperatures and cleaning chemical usage; record as required.
• Clean and wash dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, and store them properly.
• Assist in other cleaning assignments and help in transportation of residents during emergencies.
